Within the scope of entrepreneurship, which is one of the
fundamental dynamics of economic development, there is an intense need for a
comprehensive ecosystem that harbors facilitating various social and economic
interactions between private, public, and higher education sectors. We are happy to
invite you to the 3rd International Congress on Entrepreneurship and Innovation Research
(UGIAK 2026), which will be held between October 15-17, 2026, as one of the important
steps taken towards supporting a sustainable entrepreneurship ecosystem in
Turkey.
This year, organized with the main theme of
“Entrepreneurship Ecosystem and Sustainability” by the Entrepreneur Businessmen
Foundation, Necmettin Erbakan University, and NEVA Foundation, UGIAK 2026 is attended by
Konya Metropolitan Municipality, Social Innovation Agency, Capsule Technology Platform,
Innopark, and Konya Technopark as stakeholder institutions and organizations. With the
congress, it is aimed first of all to develop entrepreneurship activities based on
technology production and transfer in Turkey and to increase the number of
entrepreneurial academics, as well as to determine the current deficiencies and need
areas in the economic, social, and legal grounds regarding entrepreneurship activities,
to produce common solutions for them, and to increase interactions between relevant
private, public, and higher education sectors. The congress will bring together a large
number of scientists, business world experts, public sector representatives, NGOs, and
independent researchers from different fields of expertise on the axis of
entrepreneurship at national and international levels, and it is expected to make a
significant contribution to the entrepreneurship ecosystem in Turkey with numerous
policy and strategy proposals. In this context, the congress outputs will be presented
as a strategy document to the attention of the relevant Ministries, especially the
sponsor Ministries, the Ministry of Industry and Technology and the Ministry of
Agriculture and Forestry.
UGİAK 2026 participants will have the chance to meet
entrepreneurs and investors on a national and international scale on the same platform,
as well as participate in numerous panels, exhibitions, and workshops with the two-day
event.
Within the framework of our country's medium and long-term development goals, regional
and national stakeholders in the private and public sectors, as well as the scientific
world, will participate and contribute to supporting and encouraging innovative and high
value-added entrepreneurship activities in the economic and social fields. In this
context, papers on the following subjects within the scope of theoretical and applied
research will be accepted to the congress, and experience sharing regarding case studies
such as successful/unsuccessful entrepreneurship stories and lessons, private sector
experiences and good practice examples will also be included:
